Give your Valentine a message they can’t forget! These cute cookies are so easy to make and can be filled with candy or a special note!
Step 1:
A) Download and cut out the fortune strips using the cutting mat, knife, and ruler. Some strips are left blank so you can add your own touch!
B) Taking the circle template, use the shapes to cut circles from the red, light pink, and darker pink felt. You can use a pen to outline the shape before cutting the felt.
Step 2:
A) Measure the beading wire to the length that matches the diameter of the felt circle. To get the wire thicker, fold the wire so it is twice as long, then repeat once more. The wire should now be 3x as thick.
B) Run a strip of glue along the very center of the felt circle and place the wire on top.
C) Cut a strip of matching felt, about .25” in thickness and hot glue on top of the wire to hide it.
Step 3:
A) Add a little strip of hot glue to the very top of the felt circle.
B) Firmly press the two edges together and let set.
C) Insert your fortune.
D) Bend the two ends of the wire backwards, pinching the ends together.
