B) Paint craft pins with white acrylic paint. Let dry.
Step 2:
A) Using the tape runner, adhere the letters across the top of the board. The bottom of the letters are 1 3/8" from the top edge of the board.
Step 3:
A) Cut out "flames" from light yellow and gold cardstock. To make flame, start with a 1" square of cardstock and then freehand cut a flame shape.
Step 4:
A) Cut twelve 3/4" x 3" strips of cardstock in rainbow colors.
B) Cut twelve 3/4" x 4" strips of cardstock in rainbow colors.
Step 5:
A) Write the months of the year on the 3" strips of cardstock. Start with the red and work your way through the rainbow of colors.
Step 6:
A) Start on the left side of the board and adhere the red January candle with the tape runner. The bottom of the candle should be even with the bottom of the board.
B) Evenly space the remainder of the month candles across the bottom of the board. When you're happy with their placement, adhere them to the board.
C) Adhere a flame behind each candle with the tape runner. Alternate light yellow and gold flames.
D) Adhere the 4" strips of cardstock to the back of the board with tape runner so they match the colors on the front. Tip: You can reinforce the attachment on the back with a strip of single-sided tape over the cardstock strips.
Step 7:
A) Write names and birthdays on the craft pins.
B) Clip the pins to the appropriate months.
