Share some L-O-V-E on Valentine’s Day with this romantic wall art.
Step 1:
Mix together a light grey using black and white acrylic paint. Paint entire canvas and let dry.
Step 2:
Apply strips of equally spaced painter’s tape to canvas.
Step 3:
Mix together a medium grey paint and apply to any visible parts of the canvas. Let dry and peel the tape off.
Step 4:
Paint one set of the wooden letters black. Let dry.
Step 5:
Take the remaining wooden letters and spray with adhesive. Top with gold glitter and let dry.
Step 6:
Measure black glitter tape along short side of the canvas and cut in half lengthwise. Adhere the tape to the very top and bottom of the canvas.
Step 7:
Position and hot glue the black letters as shown.
Step 8:
Position and hot glue the glitter letters on top of the prior black ones making sure to shift the gold letters a little to the left to show and create a drop shadow.
Step 9:
Remove 6 rosebuds from stems and glue together to form a circle. Glue the fullest one into the center
Step 10:
Hot glue the rosebuds into place on the canvas, acting as the ‘O.’
