Create this cute card for your sweetheart.
Step 1:
Trace the wooden heart shape on the white cardstock five times, leaving some space in between each.
Step 2:
Mix together five shades of pink paint starting with the darkest – put some red paint on the palette and add the smallest amount of white. Keep adding a bit more white until you have five different shades going from a dark pink to light pink.
Step 3:
Paint each of the traced hearts a different shade of pink. Let dry and then cut out.
Step 4:
Find and paint the letters ‘L,V,E’ with the second lightest shade and the wooden heart shape with the darkest shade.
Step 5:
Fold the pink paper in half.
Step 6:
Cut two, 8” strips of the gold glitter tape and stick together on the long side to create a 2.5” wide strip. Take the leftover white cardstock and cut a 2” strip – trim to 7.75” long. Cut equal tails in the ends of both.
Step 7:
Spray the back of the white piece with spray adhesive and position on the glitter strip. Firmly press the two pieces together. Apply spray adhesive to the back of the glitter strip and position on the left side of the pink card.
Step 8:
Position the gradient hearts to the right of the strips and spray in place, going from lightest to darkest.
Step 9:
Spray adhere wooden letters going down the white strip to read LOVE. Use the wooden heart for the letter "O."
