Spread holiday joy with this cheerful frame art!
Step 1:
With a pencil, draw a pattern on the picture frame. Use the hot glue gun to trace your pattern with glue. Let glue dry completely.
Step 2:
Paint the frame red and let dry. Once red paint is dry, paint over it with watered down black paint for an antiqued finish.
Step 3:
Apply tacky glue and gold glitter to the wood letters J- O- Y. You can also add glitter to your fake flower now if you want extra sparkle.
Step 4:
Swirl the red ribbon around each chenille stem and twist each end into a spiral.
Step 5:
Make two bows (as shown) one with the burlap ribbon and one with the chevron canvas ribbon. Then glue one top of the other with hot glue.
Step 6:
Hot glue the candy striped spirals on top of the bows, then the flowers on top of the spirals. Add individual strands of the red ribbon to the mix for more detail.
Step 7:
Hot glue the bow to the top left corner of the frame and letters of J-O-Y down the right side of the frame. Attach a ribbon loop to the back of the frame to hang it on your wall or door.
