Create this cute wooden frame craft in a fresh springy palette. Personalize with scrapbook paper and a wooden letter of your choice.
Step 1:
(A.) Mix a reddish purple by combining purple, white and red paint. Paint the entire wooden frame, including the edges. Let dry. (B) Paint over top of the purple with white. Let dry. (C.) Begin to sand away some of the white to expose the purple and the wood from underneath.
Step 2:
Wrap the jute twice around each edge of the frame. Hot glue in place on back of frame.
Step 3:
(A.) Mix green, blue, and white paint together to create a light teal color and paint the wooden letter. Let dry. (B.) Using a similar purple as the first step, paint the edge of the letter purple. (C.) Add detail and pattern with white puffy paint. Let dry.
Step 4:
Cut and insert your 4”x6” piece of scrapbook paper into the back of the frame. Adjust the metal tabs to secure in place.
Step 5:
Hot glue letter in place. Attach the wooden peg that came with the frame and set up for display!
